I really want to make a custom AG doll. Like, really, really bad. I don’t know how to convince my parents to let me. I don’t even know how to convince them to let me tighten doll limbs. It’s really hard for me to ask them for things and I can’t imagine asking them if I can do this.

What might be good to do, is to convince them to let you customize cheap dolls first. Before you jump into customizing AG dolls, because if you mess up a Barbie doll, you can always go to the thrift store and get a replacement but if you mess up an AG doll it would be expensive to replace.
